Are you a lighthouse or a wheelbarrow?

In any trial you can be a wheelbarrow or a lighthouse. A dumper or a guide. Whatever you share more of the same will come your way. That can apply to anything good and bad. If we hold on to the bad experiences like trash in a wheelbarrow and share those experiences with others we are dumping our trash on them too. If we vent to people when we are angry that negative trash moves on to them and most likely will come back to you again sooner or later. That does not mean we do not need to find ways to release these negative emotions. WE DO but we need a constructive healing way that allow us to recover and return to the better self.....the lighthouse. I personally want more positive, uplifting experiences. If you need to let go of negative emotions go for a walk and talk it out while being alone. Recharge yourself and gain perspective in nature. Who am I...finding a purpose

My name is Clorissa and this is my medium to learn, share and mentor as I continue on a journey of lifetime learning. I have always found personal identity in high achievement and continued progress. 20 years ago that looked like academic excellence, college degrees, and a budding career in social work and education. Now I focus on maintaining and sustaining a healthy marriage and family while dabling in side work in my community. I have many talents and skills in varied areas of wellness including fitness and dance instruction, which I currently teach and have been an instructor for the last 12 years. I maintain an active license in social work allowing for continual education and practice in the field of mental health and behavioral sciences. I practice nutrition, gardening, yoga, mindfulness and all things that better my life. I continue to learn everyday from mentors, training classes, reading, and every avenue available.
